2.75 carats Trillion Cut Alexandrite Ring in Sterling Silver Rhodium Finish size 8 (Jewelry) Personally, I LOVE this ring. My boyfriend gave it to me as a gift this Valentine's Day and it is just gorgeous. I would like to point out a couple quirks about it though:This ring is asymmetrical which you cannot see in the photos. The smaller gemstones are only located on one side of the triangular stone. I have to admit I thought this was really strange when I first tried it on, but I have grown attached. :)Second, I would like to point out that the photos also make it seem as though it is a solid band all the way around. it is solid on the bottom but the underside of the gemstones is completely hollow. I do not know if this has to do with repairs and such, but it's worth pointing out. It doesn't make the ring feel that much different while wearing it however. It feels very natural and 'nonbulky' to wear.The gems really sparkle! I am amazed at what they can make in a lab. The gems shine brilliantly. The color changing effect of the alexandrite is phenomenal. For those who don't know, under different lighting alexandrite can change colors (purple, green, blue, pink, etc.). I find in most lighting it is purple.
